Young Scholars Felicitated at Indraprastha
Indraprastha World School, Paschim Vihar hosted the Scholar Badge Ceremony for Classes V to XI for the session 2021-22 on November 5, 2022 in the school auditorium to recognize the academic excellence and achievements of 126 students. The young scholars worked with perseverance to earn the honour of being a scholar.
The Principal, Ms. Shikha Arora accorded a formal welcome to the Chief Guest, Shri L.S. Narayanan, Former Deputy Director, Directorate of Education, Dr. Rajesh Hassija, Director and other dignitaries and parents. The function commenced with the traditional lamp lighting followed by a mellifluous rendition presented by the school choir. The young danseurs mesmerized the audience with their marvellous performance on ‘Mahalakshmi Stuti’ and gave an appropriate start to the ceremony.
Each child was felicitated with a Scholar Badge and a Certificate of Merit to boost their morale and encourage them to strive to excel. Shri Narayanan and Dr Hassija congratulated all the meritorious students and applauded the thoughts shared by three young scholars who shared their success mantra with the audience. In his message, the Chief Guest also underscored that the partnership between the school and the parent can only help and safeguard the rapidly changing attitude of the youth and guide them to have positivity and success. The ceremony also witnessed a spectacular dance performance that highlighted the unique culture of France. At the end, Ms. Anita Mahajan, Vice Principal (Academics) rendered the vote of thanks.
Indraprastha WORLD SCHOOL once again rose to the pinnacle of academic excellence with the declaration of AISSC Class XII and X results for the session 2021-22. It is a proud moment for all of us to share the spectacular result of our students with you. An Overwhelming majority of our students have secured 90% and above in the aggregate.
In Class XII result for the session 2021-2022, out of 177 students who appeared for the exam, an overwhelming 73 students have secured 90% and above in aggregate. The school average for this session is 85.44%. A special highlight of the result were the 22 centums - 7 in Mathematics, 6 in Accountancy, 5 in Physical Education 2 in Economics, 1 each in History and Political Science. Aridaman Singh scored the highest in Science stream with an aggregate of 98.75%. Nandika Gupta topped the Commerce stream with 99.5% whereas Mehak Arora did the school proud as the Humanities topper with 98%.
It was a dream come true for the IPITes when CBSE declared annual results for class X for the session 2021-22. The corridors of Indraprastha World School were filled with joyous accolades with all 196 students of class X scripting their success stories and setting new benchmarks for the generations to follow.
It was moment of great pride as 90 out of 196 (45.91%) students secured 90% and above in the aggregate. Akanksha Sabharwal 99%, Mahi Dhawan 98.80%, Sheryl Methta 98.4% and Sankalp Goel 98.40% topped the lists with whooping scores.
History was created as 48 students out of 196 (24.4%) scored 95% and above in aggregate with 42 students scoring perfect centum and 69 scoring 99 in all the subjects.
